1. What does RTK stand for?

RTK stands for "Real-Time Kinematic." It establishes a highly accurate reference point (or "pin") in the world, which the autosteer system uses to receive precise corrections. This ensures superior accuracy and repeatability year after year.

2. Why would I want RTK?

RTK is the most accurate option available and the only one that ensures repeatable guidance lines. We’re partnered with GEODNET, who provides a Global RTK service with industry-leading sub-inch (1–2 cm) position accuracy for Tractor Guidance and Variable-Rate Spraying. No base-station or radio setup required.

3. Why GEODNET?

Not only do GEODNET provide industry leading accuracy, but as GEODNET utilizes the industry-standard NTRIP for signal delivery the connection is compatible with hundreds of tractor models and leading guidance kits. GEODNET’s global RTK signal is also proven to provide higher accuracy, better repeatability, and lower cost when compared to Trimble RTx and Deere SFx.

4. Is the Autosteering System hard to install? Will I need to hire someone to install?

Over 95 percent of our farmers do the install themselves with our installations manuals, videos, and remote support! For those wanting someone to install the system we have that option in many locations as well!

5. Is the Autosteering and Guidance System easy to run?

We actually help develop the user interface to make sure it was the most simple and easy to use system that every farmer can easily run. We have many videos and manuals that also help explain all our features!

6. What kind of customer service and technical support comes with these systems? What does it cost?

Deep Sand Technology builds in their customer service and technical support in the cost of the system so farmers get the total price upfront. We believe our remote support we offer to all our farmers is the best on the market!

We are able to help get farmers going remotely quicker than them waiting on a local guy coming out and charging them to fix simple issues. We also offer support outside of traditional business hours. We know many farmers are out working outside of 9-5 so we make sure we still give you support!

7. What if I get the system and I don't like it?

We offer a buy back guarantee. You install and use the system and it's not what you want or need pack it all back up and we will refund you!

8. Will the systems work with my planter, and sprayer controllers?

Our system has 3 different options when it comes to controlling different implements:

► Isobus - Our system is isobus certified and can control isobus implements on our display!

► Nmea - Our system can send GPS and Speed to any controller that has nmea input option.

► Radar (speed cable) - Our system can give speed to any controller using radar pulse for speed.
